These terms describe how ALVSolutions works with clients. They apply to website projects and care plans agreed with ALVSolutions. For any project, the specifics are also confirmed directly with you before work starts; these terms are the general rules behind that agreement, not a substitute for it.
1. Domain ownership
You purchase and own your own domain, in your own name. ALVSolutions may configure DNS and connect your domain to your completed site, but ownership of the domain always remains with you.
2. Website ownership
Once your project has been paid in full, the completed website belongs to you, subject to any third-party licenses or services used to build or run it (for example, fonts, plugins, or platforms with their own terms).
3. Google Business Profile
Your Google Business Profile stays under your own Google account. ALVSolutions may assist with setup, optimization and submission, but Google controls its own verification requirements and timelines, and no timeline can be promised on ALVSolutions's behalf.
4. Payment structure
Projects require a 50% deposit to reserve and start the project.
The remaining 50% balance is due once the website is approved and before it is published to your live domain. "Launch" means the point where the completed site has received your final approval, the remaining balance has been paid, and ALVSolutions publishes the site to your live domain or an approved production host.
5. Scope and extra work
If requested work falls outside the package or scope you agreed to, ALVSolutions provides a quote before doing it. You approve that cost before any additional work begins. There are no surprise charges.
6. Care plan cancellation
Care plans run for a 3-month minimum, after which you can cancel any time with 30 days' notice. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid billing period, and payments already processed for that period are non-refundable.
At the end of the billing period, ALVSolutions stops providing hosting, maintenance, monitoring and the included update service. The website remains your property. ALVSolutions may provide reasonable assistance transferring the site to hosting you control or another provider, and any third-party hosting, migration, platform or service cost after cancellation is your responsibility.
7. Third-party services
Unless a service is specifically included in your project agreement, third-party services and subscriptions are paid by you directly. Examples include domains, booking platforms, email services, premium plugins, premium fonts or media, ecommerce services, delivery platforms, payment processing fees, and other external software or services.
ALVSolutions will not purchase or activate a paid third-party service on your behalf without your approval first. Third-party providers may change their own pricing, features, availability or terms at any time, independently of ALVSolutions.
8. Late payment and hosting suspension
An overdue balance may affect hosting or other service availability. If hosting is suspended for nonpayment, the site is suspended, not deleted. Restoring it requires the full outstanding balance to be paid, plus a flat $75 reactivation fee before hosting is restored.
9. 30-day launch warranty
Every completed website includes a 30-day launch warranty starting on the date the site is published to your live domain. The warranty covers bugs, broken functionality, layout issues, and implementation errors caused by ALVSolutions, limited to items within the originally approved project scope. Warranty fixes within that scope are completed at no additional charge.
The warranty does not cover:
- New features or new content
- Redesign requests or additional revisions
- Changes you or someone else makes to the site
- Third-party platform changes
- Domain or DNS changes made outside ALVSolutions
- Unsupported integrations
- Issues caused by external services outside ALVSolutions's control
10. Client content and assets
If you don't yet have a logo, photos, or other content, ALVSolutions may recommend DIY options, use professional stock placeholders in the meantime, or offer sourcing and design help as a separate, listed service. Logo design or paid media is not included in a project unless it is specifically listed in your package or agreement.
